About the Role

EKFB, appointed by HS2, is delivering civil engineering works over an 80km section of the high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are seeking a Quality Engineer with drainage experience to join our Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) section, based in the Brackley area.

In this role, you will:

1. Understand and implement Quality, technical assurance, and completion requirements, ensuring ITPs are in EKFB format, conform to HS2 standards, and include correct document references.
2. Support and report on all construction phase quality, assurance, and completion activities to ensure effective Quality Control.
3. Develop relationships with Designers, Client representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of ITP requirements and proper information flow to construction teams.

About You

• Experience in construction, preferably from an engineering background (Site Engineer/Section Engineer).
• Experience with civils drainage installation and testing.
• Proficiency in IT skills (MS Office and information management systems).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with construction teams to achieve quality objectives and address issues proactively.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
