Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Quality Director to lead quality excellence on the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. You will guide QA, QC, governance and continuous improvement across a multi-partner alliance, ensuring quality is embedded throughout delivery and lifecycle stages.

This high-profile role requires senior leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of driving quality strategies in nuclear or large-scale construction environments.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in quality management within large-scale construction or infrastructure environments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement quality strategies within complex projects, including nuclear.
• Experience leading QA/QC programs and documentation throughout major project lifecycles.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality strategy across the alliance and ensure delivery quality integration.
• Align quality standards and governance across multiple alliance partners.
• Oversee production, verification and timely acceptance of quality records and documentation.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Provide strategic leadership on quality performance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
