Working Pattern: Full-time – 5 days out of 7, covering weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Starting shift 7am - 3:30pm with half an hour for lunch

Starting Salary: £27,852 (non-negotiable)

The Role:

As part of an onsite team of four, the Quality Coordinator will be a key link between Oddbox and our co-packing partner. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, enabling us to deliver our boxes across the UK. This role will involve coordinating quality assurance processes, contributing to continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality offerings.

Primary Responsibilities

Quality assessments of raw material at our co-packing site, providing in-depth
quality assurance analysis.
Tracking and comparing growers/products/season performance
Undertake shelf life and cut testing and contribute to supplier feedback and
analysis.
Capture and assessment of all packaging used by suppliers.
Provide continuous feedback to the Oddbox team and make key decisions on the use of stock
Participate in project work, testing and trials.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, within the fresh produce industry
Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Passionate about fighting food waste andcommitted to maintaining high quality standards
Proactive and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
