Overview of role

Location: Liverpool

The Quality Coordinator promotes and monitors improvements in Quality, Food Safety, and due diligence. Ensuring compliance with BRC standards and that products meet industry standards is key. Responsibilities include internal audits, investigating non-conformances, implementing corrective actions, and presenting KPIs.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time, site-based position with a salary of £27,000 per annum.

Key Accountabilities

• Engage with Safety-First culture, ensuring compliance with policies on Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Quality.
• Coordinate product assessments and corrective actions.
• Monitor process parameters and investigate complaints and incidents.
• Review and improve documentation standards.
• Support NPD and EPD processes.
• Manage product sampling and analysis.
• Conduct various audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Support traceability and recall exercises.
• Assist during external audits and non-conformance processes.

The Right Person

• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in Technical.
• Understanding of food safety importance.
• Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Data analysis and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and build relationships.
• Positive attitude and focus on completing tasks.
