Overview of role

Location: Liverpool

The Quality Coordinator promotes and monitors improvements in Quality, Food Safety, and due diligence standards. Ensures compliance with BRC standards and prepares for audits. Works with the team to meet industry standards for product manufacturing.

The role involves internal audits, investigating non-conformances, implementing corrective actions, and managing KPIs.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time, site-based position with a salary of £27,000 per annum.

Key Accountabilities

  • Engage with a Safety-First culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality policies.
  • Coordinate product assessments and corrective actions.
  • Monitor process parameters and investigate complaints and incidents.
  • Review and improve documentation standards.
  • Support NPD and EPD processes.
  • Manage product sampling and analysis.
  • Conduct various audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Support traceability and recall exercises.
  • Assist during external audits and non-conformance resolutions.

The Right Person

  • Experience in food manufacturing, ideally with technical knowledge.
  • Understanding of food safety importance.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Data analysis and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and build relationships.
  • Positive attitude and focus on completing tasks.
