Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Salary: £33,800 rising to £37,500 upon achievement of role objectives

Contract: Full time & permanent

Location: Desford, Leicestershire

The Opportunity

As a Quality Coordinator you support quality initiatives across the site, analysing data, preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and working closely with stakeholders. You have valuable insight into how different departments operate and contribute to decision-making, making this a great opportunity to grow your career.

Responsibilities
  • As a Quality Coordinator, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
  • Preparing presentations, graphs, meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Analysing data using spreadsheets to support project work and inform decision-making.
  • Supporting the quality team with day-to-day tasks, including data entry and reporting.
  • Building relationships across departments to help deliver quality-related activities.
  • Following all Health & Safety policies and safe working practices.
  • Demonstrating Caterpillar’s Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork.

What You Can Demonstrate
  • Strong IT skill, confident using Microsoft Excel (including formulas and charts), Word, and PowerPoint to support reporting and presentations.
  • Clear communication, able to write and speak effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Team player works well with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Self-starter takes initiative and manages tasks independently.
  • Organised and detail-focused, able to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy.
What You May Have
  • Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment, ideally in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • An interest in supporting project coordination or continuous improvement activities within a production setting.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a readiness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
