Job description

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator for our reputable client that specializes in the production and distribution of frozen vegetables, fruits, and herbs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Complete technical reports and database administration.
  2. Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance with specifications.
  3. Contribute to customer complaint investigations and audits.
  4. Support generation of quality statements (e.g., Certificates of Analysis) and calibrate measuring equipment.
  5. Step up to cover for the Technical Coordinator when needed.
  6. Perform GMP, Fabrication and Glass audits.
  7. Assist in Pest control inspections and maintain product sample databases.
  8. Prepare and send samples for lab testing and conduct allergen/rapid testing.
  9. Manage environmental control testing and retention library samples.
  10. Conduct internal audits (Glass, Packaging, CCPs), log laboratory samples, and monitor product quality.
  11. Lead Daily taste panels, temperature checks and collaborate across departments.
  12. Conduct daily taste panels, record results, and publish to wider teams the results.
  13. Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team’s service delivery.
  14. Support health and safety requirements, propose improvement, and ensure QMS documentation is updated.
  15. Trend data and generate reports in the SAP system for due diligence.

Requirements:

  1. Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2.
  2. 3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing (preferred).
  3. Proficient in MS Office and good communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently or within a team.
  5. Understanding of microbiology and food safety hazards.
  6. Flexible and proactive attitude.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
