Job Description:

Our client based in Worcester is looking for a Quality Control Officer to join their busy team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct first view visual inspection of all castings post-fettling to identify any obvious defects
  • Serialise parts using an engraver or vibropen — good handwriting and attention to detail are essential
  • Log and track all serialised parts using our computer system (basic computer proficiency required)
  • Raise and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed
  • Degrease parts to prepare them for PFD operations
  • Pack parts securely into plastic boxes for safe internal transport across the facility
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a related role
  • A mature, responsible attitude and a proactive approach to quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good manual dexterity and neat handwriting for part serialisation
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation
  • Physically fit and capable of handling parts and packaging tasks

Overtime rates: 1.3x over 37.5 hours, 1.5x Saturday, 2x Sunday
