Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a number of Quality Controllers to work on behalf of our client in the Sefton Area.

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specific foods for the restaurant and retail industries.

Duties Include:

• Production monitoring and control in accordance with customer specifications, various regulatory and certification bodies and Customer Codes of Practice
• Monitoring the processing of raw materials to create finished products in accordance with established specifications
• The packing of cooked or raw product into sealed retail ready packaging
• Thermal processing of raw product in accordance with the Company HACCP plan
• The packing of cooked product into retail ready modified atmosphere packaging
• To continually improve processes and standards within the facility
• Uphold Quality Standards throughout the factory
• Quality Checks on goods produced

Working Hours:

• 4 days on/4 days off
• 5:30am to 5:30pm

Initial Pay Rate:

• £16.00 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team on a temp to perm basis.

Previous quality control experience in food production environments is desired; however, it is not essential as full training will be provided to suitable candidates.
