Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a busy fresh produce operation in Pershore.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous fresh produce or Quality Control experience who has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you will play an important part in ensuring products meet the required quality standards before they are approved for use or dispatch.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out quality checks on fresh produce
• Checking products for quality, appearance and condition
• Identifying and reporting any quality issues
• Ensuring quality standards and procedures are followed
• Completing relevant QC paperwork and records
• Communicating any concerns clearly with production and management teams
• Helping to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous Fresh Produce Quality Control experience is required
• Previous general QC experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and organised approach to work
• Ability to work well as part of a busy team
• HACCP qualification would be an advantage but is not essential
