A La Carte (Staffline) Leicester is recruiting a Quality Controller for a food manufacturing site in Leicester (LE1). The role involves label checks, line checks and spot checks, and will involve working in a chilled environment handling raw and cooked meat.

We offer temp-to-perm opportunities with full training, on-site Staffline support, free on-site parking and good transport links. Night shifts are paid £16.51–£17.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Strong communication skills with computer proficiencies.
• Experience operating quality control software and generating inspection reports.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Quality Controller to work in food manufacturing site based in Leicester town LE1 . This is your chance to be part of a leading British food business producing some of the nation's favourite sausages, cooked meats and Pate.

As Quality Controller, job will involve doing Label checks, Line checks, spot checks (product versus labels from the pallet)

This role involves working in chilled environment and handling of Raw and cooked meat of all sorts

We offer ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the chance to secure a long-term role.

The current shift and pay rate are set as:

Night Shift £16.51 (Mon-Sat)

Night Shift £17.52 (Sun)

Your Time at Work

• Conducting hygiene checks and audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Ensuring company's products and services meet customer and company specifications and follow regulatory standards
• Testing of raw materials, recording any necessary measurements or results
• Training staff on consumer and regulatory standards
