Job summary

A La Carte (Staffline) Leicester is recruiting a Quality Controller for a food manufacturing site in Leicester (LE1). The role involves label checks, line checks and spot checks, and will involve working in a chilled environment handling raw and cooked meat.

We offer temp-to-perm opportunities with full training, on-site Staffline support, free on-site parking and good transport links. Night shifts are paid £16.51–£17.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Strong communication skills with computer proficiencies.
• Experience operating quality control software and generating inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hygiene checks and audits to ensure food safety compliance.
• Ensure products meet customer and company specifications and regulatory standards.
• Test raw materials and record measurements or results.
• Train staff on consumer and regulatory standards.
