Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Controller for a manufacturing site in Plymouth. The role involves conducting inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with quality control policies, and providing feedback for process improvements. Qualifications

Overview

Acorn by Synergie is looking for a Quality Controller on behalf of their client, a Manufacturing Site in Plymouth.

Quality Controller will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day inspections and testing
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure they align with established quality control policies and procedures

The role will be Monday - Friday

Shifts:

Rotating shifts: Week one: 6am - 2pm, Week 2: 8am - 4pm, Week 3: 2pm - 10pm

You must be able to work all shifts to apply for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure they align with established quality control policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain, calibrate, and ensure the accuracy of measuring and testing equipment used for quality control.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant internal standards, legal regulations, and industry-specific requirements
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback and data to help managers and quality assurance teams improve processes and systems for better overall quality.

What we\'re looking for:

  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or a warehouse.
