Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Quality Controller in the Snetterton, NR16 area.

Mobile Quality Controller - Duties & Responsibilities

As a Mobile Quality Controller you will be performing sampling checks on incoming and outgoing loads from Straw Storage Sites in various locations. You will need to have an eye for detail and work in a fast-paced manner. basic computer/tablet skills are required as It will involve recording data on the tablet.

Ensuring materials are processed in line with quality standards
Maintaining the quality of recycled materials
Carry out routine quality checks and maintain accurate records of inspection
Acting as the last line of defence in the process to ensure quality is maintained
Detect and identify impurities and mixtures of recycled materials
Report any issues or non-conformities to site supervisors and assist with corrective actions
Mobile Quality Controller - Person Specification

Own reliable transport with business use is required
A full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Previous experience in a QC or waste/recycling environment is preferred but not essential—training can be provided
Good team working skills and good communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment

A valid UK driving licence with business insurance is required for this position due to various site locations.

Pay rate: £13.36 weekly pay in arrears, every Friday, mileage payment for own car to be agreed

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 07:00-19:00, part-time available
