Job summary

Synergy Flavors is hiring for a Quality Assurance/Control role to support testing, inspections and audits across the site. You will ensure compliance with quality, food safety and regulatory standards, maintain traceability, and drive continuous improvement within the Quality team.

You will work closely with Production and other teams, supporting BRCGS and internal QMS activities, investigations into non-conformances, and documentation management in a fast-paced foods environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, food safety, manufacturing or laboratory environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing and inspections on finished products and raw materials.
• Manage retention samples with accurate records and traceability.
• Support sensory and panel assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with Production on quality-related projects and provide cover when required.
• Assist with audits (BRCGS, GMP) and ongoing QMS activities.
• Investigate non-conformances, complaints and quality incidents.
• Carry out GMP, hygiene and quality audits across sites.
• Complete traceability and mass balance exercises per internal audits.
• Maintain quality records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality and safety.
