We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our customer, County Ready Mix in Weston, WI.

The Quality Control Technician in the Ready Mix Division travels to various company plants and jobsites to perform processes that ensure our Ready Mixed Concrete meets specifications. This position also tests the quality and acceptance of raw materials.

Job Duties:

1. Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the production of materials and product.
2. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
3. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
4. Works with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to concrete performance.
5. Manages housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
6. Performs other tasks as needed.

Work Environment:

• Works in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
• Works near moving machinery and equipment.
• Works in a noisy environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently.
• Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally.
• Standing, walking, climbing.
• Squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending.
• Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience highly desired.
• Ability to interpret job specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Solid math aptitude.
• Ability to train and obtain technical certifications as directed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred.
• Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record required.
