Job summary

enable recruitment | B Corp™ seeks a Quality Control Technician for its additive manufacturing operations in Greater London. You will support the Quality Management System, process non-conformances and maintain conformance records while ensuring ISO 9001/ISO 14001 awareness is applied.

You’ll work with production teams to inspect parts, manage metrology records and update quality documentation, helping to drive continuous improvement and accurate customer files.

Qualifications

• Experience within a quality, production, manufacturing or operations environment.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 or another Quality Management System would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with records, spreadsheets and technical documentation.
• An organised and methodical approach to investigating and documenting non-conformance issues.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy production environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with Production, Operations and customers.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to develop technical quality and compliance knowledge.
• The ability to work independently and manage routine responsibilities without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Processing non-conformance records and ensuring issues are documented accurately.
• Entering quality-control testing data and maintaining clear conformance records.
• Supporting inspection and quality checks throughout the production process.
• Liaising with customers when quality documentation or customer files require updating.
• Maintaining accurate compliance documentation and organised quality records.
• Managing metrology equipment records and supporting equipment tracking.
• Completing and reviewing employee competency logs.
• Supporting internal audits and monitoring follow-up actions.
• Working with Production and Operations to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Helping to ensure non-conforming parts are identified, recorded and managed correctly.

We’re working with a leading UK additive manufacturing business that produces high-quality prototypes and end-use production parts for thousands of customers across a wide range of industries.

As its production operation continues to grow, the business is looking for an organised and detail-focused Quality Control Technician to help maintain its quality standards, strengthen compliance and ensure non-conforming parts are managed effectively.

Working as part of the Operations team, you’ll support the company’s Quality Management System, process non-conformance records and help ensure that customer, production and compliance requirements are consistently met.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in quality, manufacturing or production who wants to develop their knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 within a growing technical environment.
