Qualifications

  • Experience with medical devices or relevant field desirable.
  • Demonstrated practical technical ability is advantageous.
  • Working experience in a relevant field is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Final QC tests and inspections of medical devices.
  • Maintain non-conformances and Reject log systems.
  • Generate calibration certificates for approval by authorised signatories.

Job description

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will perform Final QC tests and inspection of medical devices, to ensure products conform to release specifications
  • Additionally, perform quality reviews of production checklists and resolve any documentation issues
  • To generate calibration certificates/ release certificates for approval by authorised signatories
  • Administration activities including coordinate production documentation pack from subcontractor, checklists from production and service departments and service checklists from distributors
  • You will maintain non-conformances and Reject log systems
  • Furthermore, maintain equipment calibration log and coordinate with relevant departments when calibrations are due

What makes you great

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at passing grade or above desirable
  • Further qualification in a technical discipline is desirable
  • In addition you have working experience with medical devices or another relevant field desirable
  • You have good attention to detail and an awareness of quality control
  • Demonstrate an understanding of technical information, practical technical ability is an advantage
