Spire is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Glasgow to ensure quality and reliability of spacecraft components across the manufacturing lifecycle. You will inspect incoming materials, support in-process manufacturing, and perform final outgoing inspection before shipment.
Responsibilities include maintaining calibration of inspection tools, documenting results, and escalating non-conformances. The role requires at least two years in aerospace or high-reliability electronics and familiarity
As a Quality Control Technician, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of spacecraft components throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This includes incoming inspection of supplier materials, in-process manufacturing support, supplier Engineering Query (EQ) resolution, and final outgoing inspection prior to shipment.
You will also support the maintenance and calibration of inspection and production equipment, helping ensure they remain fit for purpose and capable of delivering accurate results.
To be successful, you will have strong attention to detail, integrity and accuracy, with a disciplined approach to following procedures and requirements. You will be confident conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records, and identifying and escalating non-conformances when requirements are not met.
