  • Perform in-process inspections at key manufacturing stages, including first article and Key Inspection Point Inspections, to verify conformance with design configurations, work instructions, and workmanship standards.
  • Support resolution of supplier engineering queries (EQs) by liaising with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain within the organisation.
  • Conduct final inspections of outgoing hardware to confirm compliance with customer and internal requirements prior to shipment.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain traceable quality records across incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection activities.
  • Identify and escalated non-conformances to Quality Engineers or appropriate Technical Authorities.
  • Support calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment (e.g. callipers, torque drivers, microscopes etc.) to ensure they remain in proper working condition.
  • Assist in tracking calibration schedules in line with company procedures and quality management standards.

Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licences-this is not something candidates need to have before applying.
