Join our team as a Quality Control Operative!

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1QD

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 22:00 pm – 06:00 am

Pay: £14.59 per hour to increase to £15.27 per hour after training

At our Clitheroe Twin Brook site, we are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Operator (Line QA) to play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest food safety and quality standards.

Your Role:

As a Quality Control Operator (Line QA), you will be responsible for:

  • Following all Health & Safety (H&S) protocols and reporting potential hazards.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining product traceability.
  • Monitoring and enforcing food safety standards, hygiene practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Conducting product quality checks, including pH monitoring, temperature checks, gas analysis, metal detection, and packaging quality assessment.
  • Checking and ensuring compliance with labelling accuracy, date printing, and seal integrity.
  • Reporting non-compliance issues and assisting in implementing corrective actions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Essential Hygiene and Chemical Awareness
  • Level 1/2 HACCP Certification
  • ESOL Entry 2 or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good command of English (written & verbal) and basic numeracy.
