Job summary

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a busy Ashford manufacturing site for a Temporary Quality Control Operative. The role focuses on inspection of labels and printed materials, with data entry and quality record keeping.

You will join a team that values accuracy and method, using a specialist inspection system and supporting document control to ensure compliance with GMP/ISO standards. The position runs through to December with a competitive hourly rate of £12.71.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels, leaflets and printed materials using a specialist inspection system.
• Compare production samples against approved artwork and specifications.
• Identify and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• File and archive quality records and batch documentation.
• Support document control processes including scanning and indexing records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Assist the Quality Assurance team with general administrative duties.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Temporary Quality Assistant / Quality Administrator to support its Quality Assurance team through to December. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong administrative skills to gain valuable experience within a regulated quality-controlled environment. The role combines inspection activities with document control and quality administration, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy accuracy, organisation, and working to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect labels, leaflets and printed materials using a specialist inspection system
• Compare production samples against approved artwork and specifications
