Job description

Xtrac is the world’s leading design and manufacturer of specialist transmissions. Our customers include top motorsports racing series such as Formula One, Le Mans, IndyCar, and NASCAR. We also supply transmissions for the most exclusive high-performance cars globally. About the Role

Manage Quality Control, overseeing the following departments:

  1. Inspection
  2. Calibration
  3. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
  4. End Of Line Test (EOL)
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop staff within the department through mentoring and training.
  • Create SQDP boards for all divisions within the department.
  • Lead daily SQDP board reviews to monitor and respond to key metrics.
  • Enhance departmental efficiency, adding value and fostering a dynamic environment.
  • Build strong relationships across all departments at Xtrac.
  • Support the transition of inspection processes into an audit function.
  • Ensure the use of only calibrated equipment across the facility.
  • Develop NDT accreditation and explore new technologies.
  • Implement full sign-off control for shipment/traceability at EOL.
  • Conduct Personal Development Reviews (PDRs) with team leaders and participate in personnel reviews.
  • Observe health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Follow company quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
About You
Essential
  • Knowledge of GDT, gauging methods, and test processes.
  • Motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and process excellence.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence personnel and senior management.
Desirable
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • In-depth understanding of Xtrac’s manufacturing processes, product development, and engineering.
