  • Allocating batch numbers and issuing labels/information to production teams.
  • Tracking and monitoring raw materials and finished goods to ensure shelf life and expiry compliance.
  • Conducting production testing for new batches and production changes.
  • Collecting and managing product samples—performing basic in-house tests or sending to external labs.
  • Reviewing laboratory results, logging outcomes, and escalating issues when required.
  • Supporting or conducting internal audits and stock checks.
  • Maintaining accurate records, managing archives, and supporting general quality administration.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Quality Coordinator
Location: Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week (14:30 finish on Friday's)
Salary: £28,980 per annum

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Allocating batch numbers and issuing labels/information to production teams
  • Tracking and monitoring raw materials and finished goods to ensure shelf life and expiry compliance.
  • Conducting production testing for new batches and production changes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a Production, Laboratory, or Quality environment (desirable but not essential)
  • High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to data entry and record-keeping
  • Comfortable following set procedures and quality protocols
  • Prof IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
