Job summary

Verdant Specialty Solutions LLC seeks a Quality Control Chemist for the Halifax site in West Yorkshire. You will provide analytical services to ensure finished products meet customer specs and advise on adjustments for non-conforming batches.

You will maintain analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, IC), calibrate, record results, and train shift Operators in in-process testing while ensuring SHE and CoSHH compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Adherence to Health, Safety & Environment guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis of new processes.
• Maintain analytical equipment on a first-response basis and perform calibration and record keeping.
• Ensure all laboratory work and the lab adhere to Health, Safety & Environment guidelines.
• Manage two laboratories during shifts and release materials per quality system.
• Input analysis data into IT system and perform stock movements as required.
• Train shift Operators in in-process testing techniques.
