General Description
Covoya Specialty Coffee Europe is a green coffee importer headquartered in Liverpool, UK. As part of the ofi group, we are a fully international operator, sourcing coffees from around the world and selling to a wide range of specialty coffee customers. We aim to add value to our partners in origin and connect roasters with top-quality specialty coffees.
We believe that specialty coffee is about relationships, journeys, and stories, and we want to share these with roasters across Europe.
We are looking for an organized, self-motivated, and practical individual to join our quality control (QC) team and contribute to our small bag warehouse operation – ‘Covoya Nano’.
This is a full-time position based in our Liverpool office and a nearby small warehouse.
The key responsibilities of our quality team include:
Additionally, our ‘Nano’ project involves small bags of green coffee distributed from our warehouse about one mile from the office. The project is established and operational, with opportunities for growth. You will be involved in daily packing, distribution, inventory management, and other site responsibilities. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with our sales and ecommerce teams as the business expands.
We anticipate a roughly 50/50 split between QC lab work and warehouse duties, though this may vary based on demand. Both roles require good general fitness and the ability to lift at least 20 kg unaided.
Joining us offers the chance to learn from and contribute to a team of coffee professionals worldwide. As part of Covoya, you will be part of a fun, dedicated team across continents, with opportunities for training on industry-recognized courses, calibration with key customers, and participation in a global coffee community.
