Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Microbial Testing & Validation.
  • Trained in Aseptic Handling Technique and good understanding of microbiological techniques.

Role & Responsibilities
  • To ensure all laboratory work undertaken is performed in accordance with cGMP quality system.
  • Identify concerns with processes, methods or data and where possible develop or contribute to the development of solutions with management support.
  • Identify, raise and offer solutions under supervision for aspects of the quality system and opportunity for continuous improvement within own and team areas.
  • To ensure that all work undertaken complies with safety assessments contained within analytical methods and risk assessments.
  • To work with management and act as a motivational team player.
  • To help form and then deliver plans & objectives set for the team.
  • Support Microbial testing and validation (Sterility, Mycoplasma, Non-Host Purity, Bioburden, Endotoxin etc).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Microbiological / Biological Degree
  • Trained in Aseptic Handling Technique
  • Experience in Microbial Testing & Validation (Sterility, Mycoplasma, Endotoxin, Bioburden etc)
  • Good understanding of Microbiological techniques with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in this field (e.g., Mycoplasma testing)
  • Experience in media growth promotion test
  • Proven ability to write and follow methods
  • Experience in cGMP analytical activities.
