Warehouse - Taiko Acton

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £27,000

Contracted Hours: 40

Established in 1997, Taiko is the UK's leading manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals, and Snacking products, supplying major retailers such as Waitrose, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s. Over 25 years, Taiko has pioneered many first-to-market products in the sushi and food-to-go sectors.

We are seeking a Warehouse Quality Control Administrator to oversee quality control within our warehouse operations. The role involves ensuring incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards, monitoring storage conditions, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in food safety and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect goods-in for quality and quantity, rejecting items not meeting safety standards.
  • Ensure raw materials and packaging meet specifications and report deviations.
  • Monitor storage conditions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Check adherence to food safety and QA procedures, including allergen controls.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and test records.
  • Coordinate with the Technical department for record review.
  • Verify delivery notes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide batch numbers and best-before dates to facilitate stock booking and labeling.
  • Apply labels to received goods and process transfers accurately in Navision.
  • Assist warehouse staff as needed and maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas.
  • Work on a rolling rota, 7 days a week, 5 pm to 1 am, with shift allowance.
