Job description

Quality Assurance Officer required for our pharmaceutical client in the Sandwich area.

This is an exciting full-time permanent position with a salary of circa £29,000/annum and a host of great benefits.

To be considered, you should hold proficient experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, and a strong understanding of QMS systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To provide QA support to all departments.
  2. Maintain and develop the Quality Management System.
  3. Ensure all pre & post-production documentation is submitted to QA, checked and approved prior to use of any materials, and batch release.
  4. Ensure all materials meet required specifications.
  5. Complete QA review and approval of deviations, C.A.P.A's, change controls, complaints, out of specifications and other documentation such as SOP's and forms.
  6. Assist with internal and external audits.
  7. Assist with product recalls.
  8. Ensure quality agreements and quality questionnaires are in place with external companies.
  9. Manage and develop the company training matrix and complete quarterly reviews on employee training records.
  10. Participate in weekly QA meetings.
  11. Ensure investigations are carried out in a timely manner.
  12. Develop and update logbooks as and when required.
