A leading company in the aerospace industry is seeking a Quality Compliance Manager for their Farnborough facility. This role is integral to ensuring quality standards through the management of the Business Management System (BMS) and driving continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality systems, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of relevant quality standards.

RPS is working in conjunction with a global tier 1 aerospace manufacturer, which after a period of significant growth, is looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join their Farnborough facility.
The role has overall control and responsibility for the development and maintenance of the BMS & SMS. The manager will adapt to role and responsibility changes as required by the Head of Quality, drive improvements to the Business Systems, and ensure compliance in readiness for audits.
Support the Head of Quality with management of key activities and issues affecting the business by proactively monitoring performance and implementing preventative measures.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist the Head of Quality in managing the local Business Management System (BMS).
• Generate new BMS documents for the Quality function as required and update documents when regulatory, customer, and company requirements change.
• Conduct product, process, and system audits.
• Deputise for the Head of Quality as required.
• Coordinate concessions/production permits.
• Investigate root causes of product manufacturing failures, ensure effective containment, and implement permanent corrective actions using tools like 8D, DMAIC, or other quality methodologies.
• Communicate with the Quality Assurance Manager regarding the containment, progress, and resolution of customer concerns.
• Compile, review, and approve FAIRs when required.
Essential Entry Requirements
• Previous experience in a Quality Systems role.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• In-depth understanding of AS9100.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality.
• Management experience.
• Detail-oriented.
Desirable Other Requirements
• Understanding of Part 21 Subpart G.
• Understanding of AS9100.
• Awareness of AESQ standards.
• Customer contract review experience.
• Internal and Lead Auditor Training.
