Watkin Jones PLC is seeking a Quality Compliance Manager to maintain quality, compliance and customer care standards across our construction projects. You will report to the Senior Quality Manager and work with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to monitor workmanship, review records and drive practical improvements.
You will carry out site visits and audits, manage QA records for key construction stages and gateway submissions, and help develop processes and improvement plans.
We are looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to help maintain the quality, compliance and customer care standards across Watkin Jones Group construction projects.
Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, you will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, Customer Support and wider stakeholders to monitor workmanship, review compliance records, identify trends and support practical improvements that reduce defects and improve project outcomes.
You will carry out site visits and audits, assess reported defects, track actions and maintain clear quality and compliance records. You will also support project teams with QA records for key construction stages, client O&M files and gateway submissions, while helping to develop processes, good practice guides and improvement plans. Onsite QA inspections will be required to ensure standards are maintained.
You will have demonstrable, relevant experience in the construction or development industry, including experience as a Site Manager and of following and managing quality and compliance work throughout the construction process. You will be confident interpreting and understanding technical specifications, drawings and designs, with the practical judgement needed to apply them effectively on site. A Level 6 NVQ or equivalent qualification would be advantageous. You will be happy with national travel across sites and staying away from home when required.
We are looking for someone with essential experience of implementing new systems and managing quality, supported by a strong eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, customers, clients and other stakeholders. You will also be able to provide evidence of relevant training and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining your professional status and keeping your knowledge of developments, trends and best practice in the sector up to date.
