Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a compliance and quality specialist to support its portfolio companies. Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to come in at the start of an exciting journey, working directly with the CEO and other leaders in the Group.

In this role, you will work closely with the portfolio companies, who maintain full operational responsibility, while providing specialist expertise, coordination, and strategic guidance to ensure uniformity and high compliance and quality standards across the group.

You will be responsible for advising, supporting, and coordinating compliance and quality efforts across the organization, ensuring adherence to ISQM, AML, and GDPR regulations, as well as aligning with requirements and expectations set by the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and ICAEW amongst others.

Skill set needed:

  • Experience in auditing, accounting, and compliance, ideally gained from a Big 6 firm or a similar high-standard environment.
  • Expertise in implementing and overseeing compliance frameworks within financial operations would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of audit processes, as well as UK financial regulations and FRC’s and ICAEW’s compliance expectations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide advisory support across diverse teams.
