Job summary

Fireco Ltd is seeking a Compliance Lead to own quality, risk and compliance across the business, ensuring standards and procedures are met.

You will manage ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, lead internal and external audits, respond to feedback, and collaborate with Production & Engineering to maintain quality at every stage. Hybrid working is offered, with a circa £35k salary for strong experience.

Qualifications

• Several years' proven experience in a quality or compliance role.
• Experience preparing for and managing audits.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to build relationships across a business.

Responsibilities

Compliance Lead - circa £35k - (flexible for exceptional candidates).

Are you an experienced quality or compliance professional looking for a role where you can take real ownership? Fireco, a leader in fire safety, is looking for a Compliance Lead to look after quality, risk and compliance across the business, making sure our standards and procedures are consistently met.

What you'll be doing

• Managing our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system, and leading our internal and external audits.
• Looking at errors, customer feedback and supplier performance to identify trends, and working with the relevant teams to put improvements in place.
• Maintaining our company risk assessments and supporting colleagues with their own.
• Working with our in-house Production & Engineering teams to ensure quality at every stage of the process.
• Obtaining accurate compliance information, documentation and declarations from External suppliers.
• Handling quality and compliance queries from colleagues, customers and auditors.
• Making sure our company vehicles are legally compliant, insured and well maintained.

About you

You'll have several years' proven experience in a quality or compliance role, including preparing for & managing audits. You're well organised, comfortable with detail, and good at building working relationships with people across a business.
