Job summary

Qualifications

• Several years’ proven experience in a quality or compliance role, including preparing for and managing audits.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to build relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems and lead internal and external audits.
• Identify trends from errors, feedback, and supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Maintain risk assessments and support colleagues with their own.
• Collaborate with Production & Engineering to ensure quality at all stages of the process.
• Obtain accurate compliance information and declarations from external suppliers.
• Handle quality and compliance queries from colleagues, customers and auditors.
• Ensure company vehicles are legally compliant, insured and well maintained.

Compliance Lead - circa £35k - (flexible for exceptional candidates). Hybrid working.

Are you an experienced quality or compliance professional looking for a role where you can take real ownership? Fireco, a leader in fire safety, is looking for a Compliance Lead to look after quality, risk and compliance across the business, making sure our standards and procedures are consistently met.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system, and leading our internal and external audits.


• Looking at errors, customer feedback and supplier performance to identify trends, and working with the relevant teams to put improvements in place.


• Maintaining our company risk assessments and supporting colleagues with their own.


• Working with our in-house Production & Engineering teams to ensure quality at every stage of the process.


• Obtaining accurate compliance information, documentation and declarations from External suppliers.


• Handling quality and compliance queries from colleagues, customers and auditors.


• Making sure our company vehicles are legally compliant, insured and well maintained.

About you

You’ll have several years’ proven experience in a quality or compliance role, including preparing for & managing audits. You’re well organised, comfortable with detail, and good at building working relationships with people across a business.
