Job description

A leading regional contractor based in the South Coast is presently seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Advisor to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned leading business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. This Quality & Compliance Advisor will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Head of HSQE. This Quality & Compliance Advisor will be joining a longstanding HSQE team and be based out of their Head Office in Hampshire and various projects across the South West.

Typically my client specialises in a range of projects throughout Civils and commercial build. Working across various frameworks for leading clients, projects traditionally range from £700,000 - £500M. Traditionally they operate from Gloucester downwards, with a lot of pipeline and projects based across South Wales, and Southwest.

Responsibilities for Quality & Compliance Advisor

  • Ensure the business complies with best practice of quality & legal compliance across sites and throughout the business.
  • Sole point of contact for Quality Assurance throughout the business
  • Provide experience and training across the business and sites by carrying out site audits.

Requirements for a Quality & Compliance Advisor

  • Previous experience within the construction industry and a similar role is fundamental,
  • Relevant degree or qualification within either construction
  • Excellent organisational skills and initiative-taking nature
  • Knowledge and understanding of Field View & Smart Waste
