Qualifications

  • Experience of working within a Telecoms environment.
  • Experience within a similar role/sector.
  • Strong planning, organization, monitoring and listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good level of IT skills.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, monitor, improve, and evaluate quality systems and procedures.
  • Complete quality audits on works completed across various projects.
  • Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports.
  • Conduct tasks allocated by the Q Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled.

Overview

Quality Auditor (South Wales and Gloucester/ Bath Region)

Working Hours | Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary | £28,000 TO £31,000 per annum plus MJ Quinn vehicle

Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join the business. This position will be field based covering the South Wales and Gloucester/ Bath areas, working the hours of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.

In this role, your key focus will be to audit, monitor, improve and evaluate quality systems and procedures whilst providing technical support to the operational teams. In this busy and varied role, you will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business needs and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the department by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports to ensure actions are identified, pursued, and resolved.
  • Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
  • Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.
  • Complete quality audits on works completed across various projects.
  • Conduct tasks allocated by the Q Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled.
  • Complete MJQ Site Assessment Checklists.
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis on behalf of the Q Manager if required.
  • Carry out safety audits to Openreach Standard.
  • Provide feedback on any issues found during audits.
To be Successful in this role the Quality Auditor will
  • Have experience of working within a Telecoms environment.
  • Have experience of working within a similar role/sector.
  • Have strong planning, organisation, monitoring and listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good level of IT skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work at pace to tight deadlines.
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
