Job summary

The Bread Factory, the UK’s leading artisan bakery, is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Specialist to drive training programs, audits and continuous improvement across our London-area operations.

You will design and deliver food safety and quality training, lead investigations into non-conformances, perform GMP audits, review manufacturing records and run root-cause analyses to maintain our high standards.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver food safety and quality training programs.
• Lead issue resolution on food safety or quality concerns.
• Manage non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct GMP and glass/hard plastic audits; report findings.
• Review and verify manufacturing records for accuracy.
• Lead root cause analyses on recurring issues.
• Monitor sample collection and lab testing processes.
• Perform sensory evaluations to ensure product consistency.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance meet standards.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical role within food manufacturing.
