Role Overview:
The Quality Auditor plays a key role in maintaining product safety and quality. Responsibilities include conducting audits, enforcing compliance with food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and support factory staff in quality procedures.
Maintain and calibrate factory measuring equipment.
Monitor and enforce food safety, quality, and integrity protocols.
Conduct audits, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
Perform environmental swabbing, air plate testing, and water sampling.
Oversee product testing, sensory assessments, and shelf-life monitoring.
Assist in customer and third-party audits.
Ensure production records meet compliance standards.
Skills & Experience:
Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
Ideally hold a Food Science qualification and HACCP / Food Safety knowledge.
