Job summary

Circet IRE & UK is hiring a Quality Auditor to join the Dungannon team. The role focuses on inspecting telecoms and civil works, verifying compliance with drawings, specs, and NIEN standards. You will identify defects, document findings with photos, and support asset system updates.

The ideal candidate has extensive quality experience in civil/pole work, fibre/copper, and NRSWA, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication. Relocation assistance may be discussed.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in quality standards for civil work, pole work, fibre and copper, and NRSWA.
• Knowledge of Heath and Safety expectations for Circet employees or subcontractors.
• Proficient with MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Inspect poles, stays, conductors, and fittings.
• Verify works are constructed to drawings and specifications.
• Check pole depth, alignment, and structural integrity.
• Record and classify defects (A, B, C) and track through closure.
• Escalate safety-critical issues immediately.
• Ensure NIEN standards and Circet HSEQ procedures are followed.
• Verify safe clearances and risk controls are implemented.
• Report unsafe conditions and ensure land/boundaries reinstatement.
• Complete inspection reports with photographic evidence.
• Verify as-built drawings and asset records are complete.
• Support updates to asset systems and handover documentation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspect poles, stays, conductors, and fittings.

• Confirm materials meet required standards. Identify and classify defects (Category A, B, C).
• Record and track defects through to closure.
• Escalate safety-critical issues immediately.
• Ensure compliance with NIEN standards and Circet HSEQ procedures.
• Verify safe clearances and risk controls are implemented.
• Report and address unsafe conditions.
• Confirm reinstatement of land and boundaries.
• Ensure no waste or materials remain on site.
• Complete inspection reports with photographic evidence.
• Verify as-built drawings and asset records are complete.
• Support updates to asset systems and handover documentation.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the required quality standards for:
• Civil work
• Poling work
• Fibre and copper
• NRSWA
• Heath and Safety expectations of a Circet employee or subcontractor
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, predominantly MS Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
• The ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exhibit analytical and problem-solving skills
• Establish good working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
• Have good commercial integrity in all aspects of work and defects identified
• Possess time management skills and be friendly and upbeat attitude
• Knowledge of AFS (Advanced Field Solutions) desirable
