The group comprises four divisions: ABP Beef, ABP Proteins, ABP Renewables, and ABP Pet Foods. Recently, ABP acquired Janan Meat Ltd, a leading provider of British quality lamb and mutton supplying customers across the UK, EU, Canada, UAE, Middle East, and beyond.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate would have experience in auditing and compliance work and a sound understanding of the food industry; however, training will be provided for the right candidate. A willingness to learn and a professional, enthusiastic attitude are essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy food production environment is preferred.
• Enjoys challenging, problem-solving roles and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
• Desirable: Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 (training provided if not possessed).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Desire to learn and progress within the company.
• Intermediate IT skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of the meat industry and understanding of animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical tasks following standard operating procedures.
• Conduct documented quality checks and monitor performance to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
• Accurately complete and properly store all records.
• Understand internal, second-party, and third-party standards applicable to manufacturing.
• Identify non-conformances, report, and escalate issues to management.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis for defects, non-conformances, or other quality issues.
