This is an opportunity to join a team that is redefining interactive advertising and e-commerce, enabling seamless transactions directly within videos, images, and links. Their cutting-edge adtech platform helps brands like Nike, News Corp Australia, and Westpac engage audiences and drive conversions.

As they continue to scale, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Lead QA Engineer in ensuring smooth, high-quality releases.

Why This Role Exists

New features and improvements go live every two weeks, and testing has become a bottleneck. Currently, the Lead QA Engineer handles all testing, but an additional team member is needed to support automation, manual testing, and process scaling.

This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, work across frontend and backend systems, and help enhance testing capabilities.

What You'll Do

1. Work alongside the Lead QA Engineer to automate and optimize testing processes.
2. Assist in transitioning test automation from Cypress to Playwright.
3. Design, develop, and implement automated test cases for web applications.
4. Conduct manual and exploratory testing, ensuring system behavior aligns with expectations.
5. Identify gaps, challenge logic, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
6. Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and cloud-based testing using Docker / AWS.

What They’re Looking For

1. 2-4 years of experience in web application testing.
2. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman.
3. Basic knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS.
4. Strong analytical skills and ability to challenge requirements and logic.
5. Bonus: Experience in adtech, e-commerce, or mobile web automation.
