A leading infrastructure service provider based in Sheffield is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure compliance and improve site standards in water infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for conducting audits, rectifying sites, and liaising with teams to enhance project outcomes. Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
As our Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be instrumental in our WSP team who are responsible for delivering Repair & Maintenance and Metering for the AMP7 framework. The contract involves the 24/7 emergency repair work on behalf of Yorkshire Water on their clean water distribution network and the installation and exchange of domestic and business meters. Your remit will involve 3 key areas:

You’re not the type to shy away from responsibility. In this role, you will be inspecting all works physically on site, liaising with Highway Inspectors and teams. The role isn’t for someone who is afraid to communicate issues to Site Managers and clients.
