Job summary

THG Manufacturing is seeking a QA-focused professional for its Warrington site. The role involves GMP and fabrication audits, ensuring packaging integrity, and maintaining QA records as part of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will work within the THG Omega facility, report to QualityLeader, and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Key duties include labelling traceability checks, sampling, testing with NIR and organoleptic methods, and daily QA documentation.

Qualifications

• GMP and fabrication audits with adherence to Quality Management policies.
• Familiarity with labelling accuracy and packaging integrity checks.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
• Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs.
• Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• Proficient PC skills.
• HACCP training is desired but not essential.
• Quality Assurance experience (2+ years) desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP and fabrication audits and document compliance.
• Inspect daily supplier deliveries for packaging integrity.
• Take samples and conduct testing using near infrared and organoleptic checks.
• Maintain QA check sheets and documentation.
• Conduct daily label checks to ensure traceability.
• Calibrate weighing scales and carry out temp/quality checks.
• Assist internal audits and issue Certificates of Analysis as needed.
• File and archive QA records and investigations.
• Respond to internal inquiries and escalate when required.
