Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveQuality Assurance (QA) Technicianto join our team in thefood-grade plastic packagingsector. The QA Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging materials meet regulatory, safety, and customer standards. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance withGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices),HACCP, andBRC/IFSstandards.
  • Perform physical, chemical, and visual quality checks on plastic packaging (e.g., tensile strength, seal integrity, migration testing).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA documentation, including test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting auditors.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory and testing equipment.
  • Ensure traceability of materials and products through proper labeling and record-keeping.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience:Minimum 1–3 years in a QA/QC role within food packaging or plastic manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, etc.)
    • Regulatory compliance (FDA, EU food contact regulations)
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Working Conditions:
