Vickerstock is delighted to be recruitment partners with our client, who are specialists in supplying free-from products to millions of customers around the globe. We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician at their newly developed food manufacturing facility in South Armagh.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working towards Production KPIs related to output, waste, and cost
• Executing the production plan according to schedule and volumes
• Training new employees and agency workers in department specifics
• Implementing good housekeeping procedures and leading by example
• Enforcing health, safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures
• Verifying products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Evaluating incoming raw materials for quality
• Collecting and preparing samples for laboratory analysis
• Conducting quality checks on the production line
• Maintaining accurate records of quality control procedures
• Ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP

Qualifications and skills required:

• Ability to work effectively with operations, technical, and hygiene teams
