Job summary

ALPLA Group in Golborne is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Officer with manufacturing quality experience to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with customer, legislative and accreditation requirements.

You will manage quality documentation, respond to DoCs and customer specifications, support internal and external audits, and lead training to uphold quality standards across the site. A strong ISO experience and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a quality function aligned to ISO standards or equivalent quality systems.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the site's QMS, ensuring documentation and quality processes are controlled and compliant.
• Manage quality documents, specifications, records and databases including document control, calibration schedules and certification records.
• Respond to customer requests for specifications, DoCs and technical questionnaires promptly.
• Support audits (customer, corporate, legislative, accreditation) and conduct internal hygiene audits and environmental monitoring.
• Deliver quality inductions and training for new starters and temporary employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support corrective actions and compliance projects.
