What you'll do:

1. Independent Oversight: Conduct thorough reviews of child protection, child in care, and fostering cases.
2. Strength-Based Practice: Promote a strengths-based approach and ensure that children's voices are heard.
3. Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and drive positive change within the service.
4. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with various agencies to ensure effective partnership working.
5. Safeguarding Champion: Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the best interests of children.

What you'll need:

1. Social Work Qualification: A recognised social work degree and registration with Social Work England.
2. Experience: Significant experience in child protection or child in care work.
3. Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to critically analyse complex cases and identify key issues.
4. Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
