Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join their team in Yeadon. Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry is essential.
  • IT literacy and welding experience are ideal but not mandatory.

  • Review supplier and sub-contractor quality procedures.
  • Inspect manufactured and supplied items to ensure quality.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing lifetime quality records.

Skills

QA/QC experience in a Steelwork/Fabrication environment
Nationally recognised Quality Control certification
Working knowledge of MQP and LTQR requirements
Knowledge of relevant British Standards
Full drivers licence

Job description

Job title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to 45,000pa
Location: Yeadon - Leeds
Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Full drivers licence
- QA/QC experience in a Steelwork/Fabrication environment
- Nationally recognised Quality Control certification
- Experience within medium to large steel fabrication
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
- Working knowledge of MQP and LTQR requirements
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards

Ideally applicants should also have:
- IT literate
- Welding experience

Role information:
- Review supplier and sub-contractor quality procedures
- Review manufacturing quality plans
- Inspect manufactured and supplied items
- Ensure project quality requirements are met
- Develop and maintain manufacturing lifetime quality records
- Arrange 3rd party inspections where required
