Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has an opportunity for a QA Lead to join the team and contribute to the overall test strategy for RLAM.

You will play a key role in supporting the Head of QA to lead and manage the Quality Assurance function, providing an effective testing framework. As a hands-on QA Lead, you will also have leadership and line management responsibilities for some team members.

About the role

• Determine the best test approach for project and business changes, ensuring appropriate control for quality, risk, and audit purposes.
• Contribute to the testing framework and procedures to ensure a consistent approach for software deployment and system integration.
• Assist project streams by defining the testing needs and approach for each project.
• Help develop re-usable test plans and record test evidence for systems and applications.

About you

• Experience with automated testing methods is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work effectively with IT, project teams, users, and fund managers.
• Experience working in Agile environments is essential.
• Experience in Asset Management is preferred, but relevant experience from other trading sectors is also acceptable.
• Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a desire to identify and resolve issues across the entire software delivery process, and influence change beyond QA. Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
