Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
Location: London
Corporate Title: Associate

You will be joining the Non-Financial Risk Management Team (NFRM) and work on an Operation Risk Platform developed using React, Java, and Cloud Technologies. You will make a crucial contribution to our efforts to release our software more frequently, efficiently, and with less risk. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, building high-performance systems, using the latest technologies.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test cases for React applications based on requirements
  • Perform automated testing with Cypress and conduct manual testing for edge cases and bugs
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure proper test coverage and application quality
  • Report and track bugs using tools like Jira and ensure compliance with testing standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
  • Monitor and analyse test results to refine testing strategies

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge of React and GUI testing using automated tools like Cypress
  • Proficiency in manual test case creation and execution (e.g., ALM)
  • Familiarity with testing tools/frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Postman) and API testing
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with performance, security testing, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
